The “Pay” button doesn’t work on mobile
Compare
Tydy, Trello, Notion and Jira — when to use which
If the team already lives in Trello, Notion or Jira, that is where they should work. If the work arrives as Telegram messages, none of those tools will sort the thread for you. Below is only what we can stand behind: how Tydy actually works, and well-known facts about the others.
3 Telegram messages → 1 task, CRM-91 “Fix the pay button on mobile”.

What is worth comparing
Not “who is better” — where the task is born, and what Tydy deliberately does not do.
| Criterion | Tydy | Trello | Notion | Jira |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Where work starts | In a connected Telegram chat: messages become tasks | In Trello: someone creates a card on a board — by hand, email, automation or API | In Notion: a page or a database row | In Jira: an issue is created in a project |
| Telegram as the inbox | Connected groups, topics and personal chats you add (Telegram Business) | No built-in parsing of Telegram chats | No built-in parsing of Telegram chats | No built-in parsing of Telegram chats |
| Documents and wiki | No document editor and no wiki — a task, its conversation and files | Card description and attachments; not a knowledge base | Documents, wiki and linked databases — the core of the product | Issue description; the knowledge base is usually Confluence, a separate Atlassian product |
| Board | Projects and Kanban columns | Boards, lists and cards — the default shape | A board view on a database | Boards on top of issues, including Scrum and Kanban |
| Sprints and delivery process | No sprints, epics or Jira-style custom workflows | No built-in sprint model at Jira’s level | No built-in sprint model at Jira’s level | Issues, epics, sprints and custom workflows — that is usually why teams pick it |
| Screenshots and voice notes from chat | They arrive from Telegram onto the task; voice notes are transcribed | Attachments if someone uploaded them to the card | Files on the page if someone added them | Attachments on the issue if someone uploaded them |
| Reply back to Telegram | From the task: the bot in a group, or your account via Telegram Business | No native send to Telegram | No native send to Telegram | No native send to Telegram |
| AI next to the work | Proposes creating or updating a task; low confidence waits in Inbox; applied actions can be undone | Automations inside Trello; that is not parsing someone else’s Telegram chat | AI inside Notion helps with writing and databases — not with someone else’s Telegram | Automations and AI inside the Atlassian ecosystem; they do not ingest Telegram threads on their own |
| Where you open it | Web and PWA | Web and official mobile apps | Web and official mobile apps | Web and official mobile apps |

How to choose
When each tool is the better fit
When Trello is the better fit
The team already runs work as cards on Trello boards and creates those cards themselves. Telegram is not the main inbox. They want lists everyone already opens in Trello.
When Notion is the better fit
You need documents, a wiki and linked databases. Tasks are rows next to writing — not a client-chat inbox.
When Jira is the better fit
Software delivery with sprints, epics and your own statuses. Telegram is side chat, not the source of issues.
When Tydy is the better fit
Work arrives as Telegram messages and you are tired of copying it by hand. You want a task with the chat attached, a Kanban, human review of AI, and MCP for an agent if you need it — without a wiki and without sprints.
How to connect
Three steps — bot, group, code
Nobody has to learn a new chat. People keep writing in the same Telegram they used yesterday.
Create an account
No card. There is a Free plan — you can connect Telegram and create tasks straight away.
Open the bot in a private chat
Follow the link from Tydy and tap Start. That ties your Telegram account to the workspace.
Add the bot to the group
Make the bot an admin and send /connect with a one-time code. One code is one chat. In a forum, one /connect covers the whole group.
Usually about two minutes. The bot must be an admin in the group — otherwise Telegram does not send ordinary messages to it.
Questions people actually ask
No, not if the team already lives on Trello boards and creates cards themselves. Tydy does not sync with Trello. It takes work from Telegram; it does not copy someone else’s boards.
No. Tydy has no documents and no wiki. Keep Notion for writing and databases. Tydy is for tasks that start in a chat.
No. Tydy has no sprints, epics or Jira-style workflows. If that is your process, stay in Jira.
A simple bot usually waits for a command and often treats one message as one action. Tydy reads a batch, updates tasks that already exist, keeps a Kanban and sends low-confidence changes to Inbox.
Yes, as separate tools. Tydy has no ready two-way sync with them — we do not promise a feature the product does not have.
Tydy: what the product and this site actually do. Trello, Notion and Jira: the well-known shape of those products (boards, documents, issues). We do not invent figures, prices or someone else’s claims.
